Bachman’s is hiring seasonal Garden Center Sales Associates to join our vibrant, caring team during one of our busiest and most exciting seasons. Position Duties:

Initiate conversations with customers, help with their purchases and orders, with a focus on promoting product features.
Process all store transactions according to established procedures including ISP and delivery orders and returns for customers and transfers.
Assist with carryout and cart retrieval.
Answer the telephone and answer customer questions, provide information and process orders.
Provide accurate, timely and friendly customer service.
Water and care for the plants and flowers, cleaning, stocking and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Must be able to stand the entire shift.
Must have good customer service skills, people friendly, responsible and dependable.
Must be able to read, write and perform basic computer skills.
Demonstrates excellent customer relations and communication skills.
Must be able to read and write English, perform basic math skills.
High energy level.
Able to work in teams to accomplish tasks.
Demonstrated ability to follow through on work direction.
Work is performed in areas with weather extremes of heat and cold, and wet conditions.
The position requires standing/walking on hard surface during the entire shift, working at a fast pace.
Must be able to lift 50lbs. with frequent bending.
Retail or horticulture experience is a plus.

Schedule:

Flexible work schedule (e.g., early mornings, nights, weekends and holidays) and regular attendance necessary.
Varys between 7:00am-7:00pm
Hours depend on seasonal needs

Compensation: $16.00
