Bachman’s Nursery Wholesale has an opening for an Inside Sales Support team member who has strong Leadership experience, organizational skills, and is knowledgeable with perennial plant materials. This position works very closely with inside sales representatives to service new and existing accounts and to generate revenue through active program and product sales effort. POSITION DUTIES:

Support sales team through creation of customer orders, quotes, and customer reports
Assistance in order entry and organization as directed by sales rep and sales manager
Assist in marketing materials and report production (order forms, promo sheets, and other documents as required by sales rep and sales manager)
Be a partner on managing, organizing, and communicating customer needs to personnel across the company
Assist in preparing and reviewing content for marketing, including but not limited to:
- Order forms, availabilities, and catalogs
- Email, mail, and text marketing
- Event planning & promotion
Provide customer service and direction to on-site customers, vendors, and other traffic when necessary to ensure a positive experience for staff and customers alike.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Associates degree in horticulture or related field preferred.
Two years’ experience in sales support or customer service role, preferably in plant nursery industry.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and in small groups.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
Prior experience with NetSuite strongly preferred.
Ability to process and prioritize tasks effectively and efficiently.
Polished ability to interact with customers on daily basis on telephone, email communication, and in person.
MNLA Nursery Professional Certification preferred.

SCHEDULE: Peak Season: Mon-Fri 7:30-5:00, Sat. 8:00-12:00 / Non-Peak: Mon-Fri 7:30-4:00.
Possible layoff in the winter months.
