Nursery Coordinator 
Seasonal Position 
Retail Hours (M-F 7:30am-5pm, Sat 8am-3pm, Sun 10am-3pm) 
Starting at $18/hour 

Job Duties:

  • Meet with retail appointments daily for tree and shrub selections.
  • Perform sales and customer service for nursery and related products at both Cedar Acres and retail customer selections at Nursery Wholesale.
  • Coordinating pick up, delivery, and/or installation of product through Bachman’s or other landscape installation companies.
  • Provide training and work direction of seasonal employees to meet the customers expectations and related expectations of this position
  • Help customers in tree/shrub lot at Cedar Acres along with loading of selected material when needed. Work with customers on any questions or issues that may arise daily.
  • Maintain nursery stock as needed including irrigation, pruning, fertilization, etc.
  • Assist in maintenance of all areas of the store including greenhouse, perennials, etc.
  • May be asked to deliver smaller material when needed.

Qualifications:

  • Two-year associate degree (Horticultural) and two-year hardscape sales, design, and/or installation experience required or three years of related work experience.
  • One year supervisory or team leadership experience required.
  • Demonstrated excellent customer service skills required.
  • Working knowledge of nursery materials required.
  • Outstanding communication and customer service skills required.
  • Must have good interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work as a team player. 
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully work with, communicate, motivate, train and provide work direction.
  • MNLA Nursery Professional Certification preferred.
  • Must be 18 and older to apply
