Accounts Payable Clerk

 Full Time On-site Position: (M-F 7:30am to 4pm) 

Bachman’s has an opening for a person who is experienced in accounts payable. Who is skilled in coordinating with buyers, communicating with vendors, processing inventory freight and allocating it to inventory invoices, as well as ensuring accuracy of vendor terms to purchase orders.

Position Duties:

· Enter and match purchase order invoices to receipts, ensuring accuracy of vendor terms, pricing and Sales and Use tax where applicable

· Process 3rd party freight invoices to appropriate supplier invoices, ensuring allocated amounts are accurate

· Reconcile variances with invoices, receipts and purchase orders

· Coordinate with buyers, receiving personnel and managers to resolve discrepancies, obtain the proper approvals, and communicate vendor priorities

· Communicate with vendors to reconcile account differences and resolve problems

· Process all expense reports and communicate with company employee credit card holders regarding related reports ensuring timely reporting and payment

· Assist Accounts Payable Supervisor on updates to department policies and procedures

· Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

· Two – year accounting certificate or three years of related experience

· Strong math and problem-solving aptitude

· Must be proficient with a PC, e-mail, spreadsheets and text documents

· Demonstrated interpersonal communication skills

· Ability to work independently, multi-task and train others

· NetSuite experience a strong plus
