         Sunday-Saturday

            Starting wage: $16.00/hour

Bachman’s Cedar Acres has an opening for a Groundskeeper who is skilled in maintaining the outside grounds and overall property appearance.

POSITION DUTIES:

  • Running irrigation at proper intervals. Doing spot checks on soil moisture
  • Weeding and planting replacements / additions
  • Refreshing annuals in pots & landscape on a cyclical basis
  • Refreshing and adding mulch where necessary
  • Assisting in designing new plant beds
  • Fertilizing garden beds as necessary
  • Maintain quality of retail product through spot watering, cutting back perennials, and assisting in stocking and spoiling product.
  • Clean inside of Cedar Acres including sweeping, mopping, and supplies restocking
  • Assist other teams or departments as necessary

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Good working knowledge of plant material, especially identification and cultural practices
  • Understanding of basic fertilizers, chemicals, pests, and diseases
  • Creative eye that finds value in creating beauty with landscape materials
  • Organized, with desire to document observations
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
