Greenhouse Production Helper
Seasonal Position

Position Duties:

Plant material as directed.
Place planted material in the correct location as directed.
Assist with order fulfillment as directed.
Move material as directed.
Prepare crop growing space for next crop including removing debris, sanitizing growing areas, washing flood table trays, and checking that water delivery points are functioning and clean.
Perform general plant maintenance duties as directed such as spacing, consolidation, cutting back, and flower bud removal.
Perform general clean-up duties in greenhouses, adjacent buildings, and around facility.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Must be able to read and write.
Some greenhouse experience preferred.
Must be able to perform physical work including moving and/or lifting up to 25 pounds on a frequent basis from ground level up to 5 ½ feet.
Must be able to stand/walk for long periods of time.
Must be able to tolerate inclement environmental conditions.

Schedule: 7:00am-3:30pm, Monday-Friday. Possibility of additional hours during peak season.

Compensation: $17.00
